About Us

For over 40 years, Cancer Gala & Co. has been dedicated to bringing hope, compassion, and tangible support to cancer patients and their families. What began as a small community effort has grown into a thriving not-for-profit organization, officially established in 2021 to expand our reach and deepen our impact across the region.

Through the generosity of donors like you, we help ease the financial burdens that often accompany a cancer diagnosis—assisting with essential prescription medications, nutritional supplements, wigs, travel expenses, and other personal necessities that help patients focus on healing.

Recognizing that every patient’s journey is unique, we created the Hope Fund, a grants program that provides direct financial assistance to individuals and families facing hardship during cancer treatment. This fund enables us to offer flexible, meaningful aid tailored to each person’s specific needs.

Our passion for service also extends to the next generation through our Legacy Program, which encourages children and youth to engage in volunteerism and community service. By nurturing empathy and leadership in young people, we’re ensuring that our legacy of care continues to grow well into the future.

Over the decades, Cancer Gala & Co. has built strong, lasting relationships with local healthcare providers. Together, we identify and fulfill large-scale needs within their facilities—most recently making significant contributions to the DDCI infusion room and raising funds for this complete renovation, among other transformative projects such as large scale contributions to innovative patient forward technology. Here are just a few of our most recent donations – bk3000 Ultrasound Machine, ENT Venue Fit Vascular Access Ultrasound System, Sonofi Health Tablets, Real-time Coach System – Radiation Oncology, DDCI Infusion Room Vein Finder, and nutritional support for infusion patients.

Guided by our passionate, servant-hearted board and committee, we remain committed to pursuing initiatives that bring comfort, dignity, and hope to those affected by cancer. With your continued support, we look forward to building on our 40-year legacy and expanding the scope of our mission for generations to come.
